Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) introduced a new children’s Storytime session called Toddlertime, specifically designed for children aged 1 to 3.

Toddlertime is an activity that encourages early literacy skills through a lively and interactive half hour of songs, rhymes and reading.

Toddlertime is running at the following libraries:

  • Waurn Ponds Library: Mondays 10:30-11:00am
  • Newcomb Library: Tuesdays 10:30-11:00am
  • Corio Library: Tuesdays 11:30-12:00noon
  • Belmont Library: Wednesdays 9:30-10:00am
Sessions are free of charge, run during school terms and no bookings are required.

GRLC Board Chair, Cr Andy Richards said, ‘’Toddlertime is a welcome addition to our Storytime sessions, offering younger children the opportunity to enjoy a fun, interactive and positive learning experience with other children their age. Similar to our other Storytime sessions, Toddlertime is designed to encourage literacy and language skills and encourage a love of reading.’’

Along with the GRLC’s other popular Storytime sessions, Babytime Nursery Verses (0-12 months) and Preschool Storytime, Toddlertime offers a learning experience in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
