Lara Official Opening Day
Lara Library opened to the community on 20 December 2011 with the full suite of library services available including print and multimedia collections, information technology and lifelong learning programs.
The official Open Day was held on Saturday 31st March 2012. Cr Cameron Granger, Deputy Mayor, Councillor for Windermere Ward and Geelong Regional Library Corporation Board Member, declared the Lara Library Open and followed this with a special storytime session for preschoolers.
